Tilford Meadow Nursery School

At Tilford Meadow Nursery School we aim to build a happy,caring environment where children and their families matter by respecting their individuality.

We value children's learning supporting their development not only in the indoor nursery environment but by providing a wealth of learning opportunities using our wonderful garden and woodland access.  The nursery embraces the "Forest School" ethos of learning, encourging independence, investigation and questioning.

 

Where we are

We are located in the centre of Tilford (opposite the village green)in the historical Lutyens building, The Tilford Institute.

The village of Tilford lies just outside of Farnham, Surrey.

Registration

We are currently accepting limited applications for the academic year 2012/2013 ( children who will be attending school Sept 14/15)  .We are able to offer definite places from the September 2013 for the academic year 2013/2014.

What we provide
Tilford Meadow Nursery School provides educational care for children aged two and a half to five years of age.
The nursery hours are 9.15 -12.15 pm for the younger children in Yellow Class and 9.15 -1.15 pm for the older children in Green,Red and Blue classes (generally 3 years plus).We also offer an optional "double" session on a Monday and Thursday until 3.20 pm.
Tilford Meadow Nursery School provides the Early Years Foundation Stage in the educational planning for the children. Activities are organised within the setting, the secured outside play area and use of the woods, meadows and surrounding rural areas.
We currently have a member of staff training to become a Forset School Leader which means that we will be able to provide enhanced learning and development using our unique natural environment.
Each child learns within a small class group with a key practitioner who will provide the class with activities appropriate to the childrens' individual needs and interests. All children are planned for and activities inclusive. Learning is hands on and above all fun !
You can view our recent Ofsted inspection report on the Ofsted website   We were inspected in April 2011 and  we got "Good" in all aspects, which represents that the nursery provides "very good " education and care.
